RSVP needed! Woodstock’s Tree Team & Urban Forestry are hosting a pruning workshop to teach why and how to prune young street trees.
Event Types > Volunteer Opportunities/Fundraisers
Meet us under the pavilion in the SE corner of the park! We will have a short pruning demonstration, followed by breaking up into small groups. Each group will prune trees for structure and clearance under the guidance of an arborist. This will be a great hands-on experience for both experienced pruners and newcomers while setting up our young street trees for future success.
RSVP to Rick at email@example.com & please specify whether you are a Neighborhood Tree Steward and/or how experienced you are with tree pruning. We will pair two inexperienced pruners with someone who has experience. For questions, contact Rick or Natasha at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tools, gloves, and snacks will be provided. Look forward to seeing you there!
