Find out what is going on in your neighborhood and with the City of Portland's world renowned neighborhood system.  The Calendar of Events is where you will find information about upcoming neighborhood meetings, community events and volunteer opportunities.  Events are listed by district so you can look at all the events going on in the city or just for your part of town.

    SW Riverview Force Main Project Update: June 26, 2015

    Environmental Services is working on a project to replace 3,000 feet of sewer main along Highway 43 from the Riverview Pump Station south to SW Riverwood Road. This project will protect public health, property and the environment.

    SW Ventilation June 26: Weekend Work Confirmed & Project Update

    Environmental Services is working on a project to reduce sewer odors and increase the capacity of the Southwest Parallel Interceptor sewer system to accommodate current needs and potential growth. The contractor is installing about 1,000 feet of 24-inch concrete pipe along SW Taylors Ferry Road, 800 feet of 48-inch concrete pipe along SW Virginia Avenue, and a permanent odor control facility east of SW Taylors Ferry Road.

    SE Division Place and 6th Avenue Sewer Replacement Project

    Environmental Services – your sewer and stormwater service provider – will replace and upsize about 270 feet of public sewer pipes on SE Division Place between SE 6th and SE 7th avenues that are between 95 and 106 years old. This project will increase sewer capacity and reduce the risks of sewage releases to homes and streets.

    Future of Portland Parking Symposium to explore innovative approaches for Central City, neighborhoods Monday June 29 1 to 6 p.m., open house follows

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation is convening “The Future of Portland Parking,” a half-day symposium that is open to the public to explore innovative parking approaches, tools and strategies for the Central City and Portland neighborhoods.
