    Grant funds available for community projects, pre-applications due February 6

    The Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) is accepting pre-applications for stewardship grants. The deadline to submit pre-applications is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015. A grant review committee will then invite selected applicants to submit full applications in April.

    Winter paving to close lanes on NE 28th Avenue from NE Glisan Street to NE Broadway through Dec. 1st

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on NE 28th Avenue from NE Glisan Street to NE Broadway from Tuesday, November 18 through Monday, December 1st, 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. each weekday. This project may also include some weekend work.

    Eastmoreland-Woodstock Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: November 14, 2014

    Construction continues on a project in your neighborhood to repair or replace about 40,000 feet of severely deteriorated sewer pipes that are more than 60 years old. The work will make the sewer system work more effectively and protect water quality, public health and the environment.

    One lane of East Burnside Street to close next week for street repairs between NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and NE Grand Avenue

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements require the closure of the right eastbound lane and bus stop on E. Burnside Street between NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and NE Grand Avenue from Monday, November 17, through Monday, November 24, 2014.

    Clinton Green Street and Sewer Construction Update: November 14, 2014

    As part of the Tabor to the River Program, Environmental Services continues construction on the Clinton Green Street and Sewer Project. This project will replace 3,800 feet of sewer pipe installed over 100 years ago, construct 24 green street planters and add two blocks of pervious paving. These improvements will protect public health, property and the environment, and reduce the possibility of sewage releases into streets, homes and businesses.
