    New City Tree Program and Regulations Training Dates Announced

    On January 2, 2015, the Bureau of Development Services (BDS) and the Bureau of Parks and Recreation (PPR) will be implementing elements of the Citywide Tree Policy Review and Regulatory Improvement Project (“Tree Project”) through a new Tree Program. To help inform customers of the new Tree Program and associated regulations and processes, free Tree Program training classes are being offered in November and December 2014 and in January 2015.

    City advises residents to pick up and compost autumn leaves; keep streets safe and free of slippery conditions

    It’s time to bring out the rakes. With heavy rain and gusty winds predicted for late tonight and early Wednesday, the City of Portland Bureau of Transportation is asking Portlanders to keep streets and storm drains clear of fallen leaves.

    Eastmoreland-Woodstock Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: October 20, 2014

    Construction continues on a project in your neighborhood to repair or replace about 40,000 feet of severely deteriorated sewer pipes that are more than 60 years old. The work will make the sewer system work more effectively and protect water quality, public health and the environment.

    Division Streetscape Project Update: October 21, 2014

    OpenFest! Join City Commissioners Nick Fish and Steve Novick at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24 at SE Division and 31st Avenue to celebrate the end of the Division Streetscape Project and the reopening of Division for business.     This Friday, October 24, at 10 a.m., Portland City Commissioners Nick Fish and Steve Novick will celebrate the completion of the Division Streetscape Project with local neighbors and business owners at SE 31st and Division.
