April is Fair Housing Month

Fair Housing education and outreach are essential components of the Fair Housing Action Plan. When Mayor Hales and Commission Saltzman declared April 2014 as Fair Housing Month they also honored students Rebecca Celsi, an eighth grader from Access Academy and Medini Madhusudan, a fourth grader from Springville School. Their Fair Housing poster drawings won the first place for their age categories and they tell us why fair housing matters. Visit our Fair Housing web page to read the Fair Housing Report.
