NE Sandy Boulevard
The Portland Bureau of Transportation's High Crash Corridor program is addressing traffic safety on three Portland roadways in 2013 -- NE Sandy Blvd, W/E Burnside St, and inner-SE Powell. The segment of NE Sandy that is addressed by this program is NE 12th Ave to NE Killingsworth.
Through analyzing crash data and collecting feedback from people using Sandy, the High Crash Corridor staff will develop a set of recommended improvements for the roadway, work with Portland Police to enforce traffic safety laws, and provide pedestrian and driver safety education programs to a variety of groups.
