Construction began on November 5, 2012
This construction contract will be constructed in two phases, with primarily concrete work (in progress) anticipated to occur through December 2012, and paving work anticipated to occur in May 2013.
As of November 28, 2012 the contractor provided the following schedule:
Week of November 26, 2012
a) Vegetation removal
b) General excavation
c) Pour curbs and sidewalks
Week of December 3, 2012
a) Utility relocation
b) Pour curbs and sidewalks
c) Set up and pour driveways
Note: Vehicles must not use newly-poured driveways for at least 72 hours;
any necessary replacement will be at property owner expense.
d) Construct retaining walls
Parking During Construction:
Please note that on-street parking on SW 11th Avenue will be prohibited during construction; please make alternative parking arrangements. As a general rule, you will have parking access on or near your property in the evenings after construction crews have left the site. If you are planning to be away from your property for a few days, please park your vehicles off the street so that the streets will be clear for construction equipment. Please park outside of the construction area when the temporary no parking signs are posted; otherwise, we cannot guarantee you egress during construction. Please do not park on anyone else’s private property during construction without prior permission from the property owner.

- SW 11th Avenue from Curry Street to Whitaker Street
- SW 11th Avenue from Whitaker Street to Gibbs Street
Design and construction of this project is being funding by Marquam Hill parking meter revenue and sidewalk infill funding.
