Concrete construction began on November 5, 2012 and was completed on January 22, 2013.
This construction contract includes a final phase of work, which consists of reconstructing and paving the street between the new curbs. Work is scheduled to begin on June 17, 2013. Construction is anticipated to be completed on or before July 31, 2013.
SW 11th Avenue will be closed during construction and to all traffic except local access only. Tri-Met buses will be detoured to SW US Veterans Hospital Road.
Parking During Construction:
Please note that on-street parking on SW 11th Avenue will be prohibited during construction; please make alternative parking arrangements. If you are planning to be away from your property for a few days, please park your vehicles off the street so that the streets will be clear for construction equipment. Please park outside of the construction area when the temporary no parking signs are posted; otherwise, we cannot guarantee you egress during construction. Please do not park on anyone else’s private property during construction without prior permission from the property owner.

- SW 11th Avenue from Curry Street to Whitaker Street
- SW 11th Avenue from Whitaker Street to Gibbs Street
Design and construction of this project is being funding by Marquam Hill parking meter revenue and sidewalk infill funding.
