STREETCAR CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY:
Shift of utility pole requires Broadway Bridge sidewalk closures and Interstate Avenue lane closures
(Portland,Ore.) – The Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that Streetcar construction work will have multiple traffic impacts beginning Thursday, April 12 through Sunday, April 22. A utility pole on the Broadway Bridgewill be shifted. The traveling public is advised to use caution in work zones.
Beginning Thursday, April 12, at 9:00 P.M. through Friday, April 13, at 7:00 A.M. the north sidewalk on the Broadway Bridge will be closed to all users. The right westbound travel lane on the bridge will be closed.North Interstate Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic from North Tillamook Street to North Larrabee Avenue. All streets and the sidewalk will re-open by 7:00 A.M. on Friday, April 13.
On Monday, April 16, at 8:00 A.M. through Sunday, April 22, at 12:00 A.M. the north sidewalk on the Broadway Bridge will be closed all hours and all days to all users. A detour to the south sidewalk will be in place.
