TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Street improvement closes lanes on North Saint Louis Avenue beginning Nov. 26
(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require intermittent lane closures on North Saint Louis Avenue between North Lombard Street and North Iris Way for two weeks beginning Monday, November 26, through Friday, December 7, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. week days. The public is advised to expect significant delays, travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
Traffic will be limited to one direction at a time in the construction zone with flaggers. Work will begin in the eastbound lane of North Saint Louis Avenue at the west end of the project at North Lombard Street. Upon reaching the east end at North Iris Way, work will continue in the westbound lane back to Lombard.
Local access will be provided to residences and businesses, and sidewalks will be kept open.
