Over 100 corners will be installed in 2001 as a result of citizen requests.

In 2000/01 BOM installed over 100 curb ramps through the arterial street and other maintenance programs. BOM installed additional ramps along NE Fremont and the No. 33 bus line using funds from an IGA with Tri-Met.

The City will conduct a pilot program to install Truncated Domes (recommended change to ADA standards) on curb extensions and at mid-block crossings. Received a $20,000 grant from ODOT to retrofit specified locations near transit.
