Utility Work, Crane Lifts, & Other Use Resulting in Lane or Street Closures
The following streets (listed by avenues first, from east to west, and streets next, from north to south) are expected to have impacts from private construction, utility work, crane lifts:
Keller Auditorium stage set load in/out: none scheduled
SW Main Street (gates), SW Broadway to Park: closures for performances & events
Starting 7pm on Sunday, 3/16/14 and ending at 6am on 3/18/14, Jake's Famous Crawfish to close SW Stark St between 12th and 13th for a St Patrick's Day Celebration benefiting Trillium Family Services.
Starting 5am on Saturday, 3/15/14 and ending at 5am on 3/18/14, Paddy's Bar and Grill to close SW Yamhill between 1st and Naito for a St Patrick's Day Festival benefiting the Children's Cancer Association.
March 16, Shamrock Run: start times vary from 7:40am to 9:40am depending on which event you participate in click here for map of street closures. The Portland Aerial Tram will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow for improved access to Marquam Hill and Oregon Health and Science University during the Shamrock Run. Avoid road closure delays and take the tram! In addition, the tram will have fun activities for the whole family from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. The public is welcome to join the Portland Aerial Tram festivities at the lower tram station in South Waterfront while the Shamrock Run is underway. Take the tram to the top of the hill and cheer on the runners at the half-way point. There will be a range of free activities for the whole family: face painting, balloon sculpting, tram T-shirts for coloring ($10), puzzles, crafts and behind the scenes tram tours of the control and motor rooms. Starting 9am on Wednesday, 3/26/14 and ending at 2am on Saturday, 3/29/14, Pioneer Nation to close NW 13th Ave between Johnson and Kearney for Pioneer Nation, a small business convention with PNCA.
First Thursdays, from 2pm to 11pm, 4/3/14, 5/1/14, 6/5/14, 7/3/14, 8/7/14, 9/4/14, 10/2/14, Urban Art Network to close NW 13th Ave between Irving and Johnson for the First Thursday Street Gallery.
Starting at 8pm on Friday, 4/11/14 and ending at 8am on 4/13/14, TEDx Portland to close SW 3rd Ave between Clay and Market for TEDx Portland.
First Thursdays, from 2pm to 11pm, 6/5/14, 7/3/14, 8/7/14, 9/4/14, Urban Art Network to close NW 13th Ave between Hoyt and Irving for the First Thursday Street Gallery.
