During spring and summer 2012 PBOT held five events to help people learn more about the Going Street Neighborhood Greenway.
- May 13th: Going to Play
- June: Going Shopping
- July 20 - 29th: Going Exploring
- August 31st & September 1st: Going to Work
- September 14th: Going to School
Join us on the first Sunday Parkways of the year and play the Neighborhood Greenway card game. Collect playing cards during Sunday Parkways and the best hand wins a Trek bike.
When: Sunday May 13, 2012, 11am - 4pm
Where: Northeast Sunday Parkways.
Look for the Neighborhood Greenway stations in Woodlawn Park, Fernhill Park, Alberta Park, Rigler Marketplace, and on NE Going Street at 35th.
How: Stop by all five stations and pick up a playing card. The best hand wins a Trek commuter bike!
Look for the banner and pick up your special Greenway cards for a chance to win a Trek Bike!
In June, check your mail for a FREE bike map bandana coupon, redeemable at select neighborhood businesses with a purchase.
When: The entire month of June or until supplies last
Where: Select neighborhood businesses near the Going Street Neighborhood Greenway
How: Bring the postcard you received in the mail to one of the participating businesses and turn it in with your purchase for a free bike map bandana.

Going Street Neighborhood Greenway Scavenger Hunt

When: Scavenger Hunt is the week of July 20-29th (entries must be submitted before 8/1).
Where: All along Going Street Neighborhood Greenway.
How: Check out the scavenger hunt questions online and fill out the online order form. You can win a Trek bike, gift cards to Foot Traffic, and more! (Thanks to Bike Gallery for donating the bike!)
Concordia Neighborhood Yard Sale
When: Saturday, July 28th from 8am - 1pm.
Where: Cargo bike delivery station is located at 29th and Ainsworth. Free coffee and treats throughout the neighborhood. Check the flyer for more details.

How: Walk or roll to the yard sales, buy the items you want, and then stop by the cargo bike delivery station to arrange your free delivery. You can also call the cargo bike delivery coordinator. Call 503-764-1415 ext 1 to schedule your delivery. Or stop by the delivery station at 32nd and Ainsworth.
Going to Work
August 31 & September 1st, 2012: Going to Work
Get ready of the the Bike Commute Challenge in September. Get free bike repairs by a pro mechanic, right on the Going Street Neighborhood Greenway. Plus morning and evening treats on Going Street and NE Cully.
When: Friday 8/31 from 3-6 pm & Saturday 9/1 from 9 am - 2 pm.
Where: Going Street Neighborhood Greenway: N Williams & N Going, NE 33rd & NE Going, NE Cully & NE Alberta
How: Bring your bike out the Going Street and have a mechanic get it ready to ride. Then grab a treat on your way to or from work as your cruise down the Neighborhood Greenway.
Going to School
September 14: Going to School
A giant fair for kids and parents at King School Park, with treats, games, a bike skills course, a helmet giveaway and bike mechanics - all FREE.
When: Friday, September 14th. After school let's out! (3-5pm)
Where: King School Park, 6th and NE Going Street
How: Parents and kids, come on down to celebrate biking and walking to school on the Neighborhood Greenway!
