Street paving now scheduled for October 25 - November 6

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Street paving to close lanes on Northeast Multnomah Street for two weeks starting October 22 

PORTLAND, Ore.– The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that lane closures will be necessary on Northeast Multnomah Street between Northeast 1st Avenue and Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard beginning Monday, October 22, through Friday, November 2, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each week day. The closures are necessary to remove the existing pavement and repave the street. 

The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible. Local access to residences and businesses will be provided. 

This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
