Records Center

The Records Center's role is to provide storage, maintenance, and reference use of records pending their disposition.  All records are managed according to established record retention schedules.

The Records Center holds approximately 32,000 cubic feet of material, including, but not limited to, land use records, bureau project records, contracts and audited vouchers. The staff works with City employees to identify and retrieve records stored in the facility. Requests from City agencies are normally filled within 24 hours from the time retrieval requests are made.  Extensive requests involving reference assistance may be referred to the Archives’ staff.
