7103-01   Tow Lists

Records are used to document requests to tow cars and the tow company's response. Record is a log that contains date, license number and state, automobile male, tow number, tow date, case number, location, letter date and other comments.

7103-02   Towed Vehicle Reports

Series is used to document vehicles towed by the tow contractors. Record is compiled by tow company and forwarded to Parking Patrol/Abandoned Autos. Record may include name of tow company, case number, tow date, time, location, lien information, towed to location, automobile information, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), appraisal number and other related data.

7103-03   Tow Hearing Reports

Series is copy of records and reports given to the Tow Hearings Board. Series includes request for dispatch information, deputy replies and hearing information. Series contains copies of complaints and requests for dismissal of tow charges. Records may include hearing information, officer's notes, tow information, copies of complaints, inspector's replies, photos of vehicles, etc.
