BDS at the 16th Annual Division/Clinton Street Fair

Division/Clinton Street Fair 1On July 26, 2008, the Bureau of Development Services joined the 16th Annual Division/Clinton Street Fair "Commerce & Community" sponsored by the Division/Clinton Business Association.

The fair was a good opportunity for the neighborhood to present and advertise the bureau’s services to the community and a great way for the city to network with our customers and business partners. The fair also served as an avenue to introduce new business into the Clinton neighborhood.

The fair attractions included a mini parade, food, music, and dancing. BDS joined the excitement; handing out sustainable grocery bags, construction hats, energy-saver light bulbs and most importantly, our brochures regarding information on permits and inspections. The Division/Clinton neighborhood has a very unique and involved group of people with many good questions about the Bureau’s services.

Thank you to Joe Botkin and McKenzie James for contributing the time to work on the BDS' booth.
