Changes to City of Portland Title 24, Building Regulations, were enacted effective April 20, 2015. These changes affected residential demolitions, and created the Major Residential Alteration and Addition (MRAA) permit category with neighbor notification requirements. A Service Level Update describing the Title 24 Code changes along with new informational web pages describing them can be found at the BDS website.
Part of the ordinance requires that BDS report back to Portland City Council by June 30, 2016 to determine whether any revisions to the Code are necessary.
