Comprehensive Plan Early Implementation Discussion Drafts Coming Soon:
This summer and fall The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) will be releasing drafts of projects that address employment land, institutional campuses and mixed use zones. These discussion drafts allow planners to share their initial thinking with the community and consider the feedback as they develop their proposed drafts, which are presented to the Planning and Sustainability Commission for formal review and public hearings.

The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability is revising the City’s Zoning Code for accessory structures and focusing on detached residential structures such as garages, storage sheds, home offices and accessory dwelling units (ADUs), as well as, decks, trellises, ADA ramps and mechanical equipment.
