  • Volunteer work crew Environmental Services works with partners throughout the watershed to restore riparian habitat

  • SW 45th Avenue culvert A culvert on Fanno Creek makes it difficult for fish to get past this great blue heron - a project to replace the culvert at SW 45th Avenue will improve stormwater conveyance and enable fish passage

link to Fanno Creek watershed report cardFanno Creek starts in Portland’s West Hills and meanders 15 miles through residential, commercial, and industrial lands of west Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, and portions of Washington and Clackamas Counties. Many streamside parks — including Albert Kelly, Gabriel, and Woods Memorial Parks — offer opportunities to explore Fanno Creek and its tributaries.

Environmental Services and many partners are working to improve the health of Fanno Creek and its watershed.
