Underground Injection Control Management Plan (UICMP) Annual Report

The UICMP Annual Report summarizes programmatic activities implemented by the City of Portland for each permit year for the duration of the Water Pollution Control Facilities (WPCF) permit.  In accordance with permit requirements, the report includes completed activities, key accomplishments, and activities for the upcoming fiscal year. The report is organized by the four UIC Program elements:

• System Management summarizes and projects citywide activities under five best management practices (BMP) categories to prevent, minimize, and control pollutants prior to infiltration.
• System Monitoring summarizes the annual results of UIC monitoring conducted under the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Plan (SDMP).
• Evaluation and Response provides a programmatic overview of evaluation and response actions.
• Corrective Actions identifies corrective actions implemented to address UICS that do not meet permit requirements.

Annual Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Plan (SDMP) Report

The WPCF permit requires the City to monitor stormwater that enters City-owned or operated UIC systems throughout the life of the permit and to submit an annual Stormwater Discharge Monitoring report.  Sampling is performed in accordance with the City’s Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Plan (SDMP).
