2016-2017 stewardship grant application materials are posted on this page. Pre-application forms are due by 4 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016.
Community Watershed Stewardship Program provides grants of up to $10,000 to help Portlanders address challenges faced by their neighborhoods and communities, while also improving the health of our urban environment. For more information about the kinds of projects CWSP funds, see Types of Projects.
For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.
Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:
Those interested in applying for a CWSP grant submit a grant pre-application. Pre-application forms are due by 4 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016.
A grant review committee reviews the pre-applications. CWSP will then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.
CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout the process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying!
CWSP has scheduled three grant-writing workshops to answer your questions and help you write compelling applications. The workshops are free and open to everyone.
Bring your ideas and your questions! Light refreshments provided.
If you have questions about the grant program or past projects, or have an idea for a project of your own, contact Stewardship Coordinator Jessica Rojas at 503-823-7917, or send a message to the CWSP team.
