Apply for a Grant

Stewardship Grants and Native Plant Mini-GrantsEyes on the Slough

Community Watershed Stewardship Program provides grants of up to $10,000 to help Portlanders address challenges faced by their neighborhoods and communities, while also improving the health of our urban environment. For more information about the kinds of projects CWSP funds, see Types of Projects.

Application Process

For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.

Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:

  1. Those interested in applying for a CWSP grant submit a grant pre-application.
  2. A grant review committee reviews the pre-applications. CWSP will then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.

CWSP will begin accepting grant applications again in 2015.

CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout the process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying!

Contact Us to Discuss Your Project Ideas
