Apply for a Grant

Stewardship Grants and Native Plant Mini-GrantsEyes on the Slough

Community Watershed Stewardship Program provides grants of up to $10,000 to help Portlanders address challenges faced by their neighborhoods and communities, while also improving the health of our urban environment. For more information about the kinds of projects CWSP funds, see Types of Projects.

New Application Process

For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.

There is a change in the application process this year for CWSP grants. Applying for a CWSP grant is now a two-stage process:

  1. Those interested in applying for a CWSP grant now submit a grant pre-application. The deadline to submit the pre-application was Friday, February 14, 2014.
  2. A grant review committee will review the pre-applications. CWSP will then invite selected applicants to submit a full application. Full application forms are available in PDF or Word format. Full grant applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout the process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying!
