Life in the Floodplain is a free and fun educational fair for families who live, work, or own property in or near Johnson Creek’s 100-year floodplain. The event will address the specific challenges —and benefits—of living and doing business near such a dynamic stream.
Groups including American Red Cross and National Flood Insurance Program will provide information and tools to help you:
Better understand flood insurance.
Reduce your utility bills.
Learn about home improvements to reduce your flood insurance costs.
Prepare for the next winter flood.
Get involved in local community projects.
Join your Neighborhood Emergency Team and register for emergency alerts.
