Impervious area managed: 8,000 sq ft

Size of facility: 582 square feet

This project was initiated by members of the neighborhood to enhance crossing safety at this previously expansive intersection. Project improvements included a rain garden, a new sidewalk, a pedestrian crossing median, and new crosswalk striping. Not only was impervious road surface removed but the intersection was enhanced both aesthetically and environmentally.
