  • Also known as devil's paintbrush
  • Dandelion-like plants with multiple orange flower heads
  • Bristly hairs located on the stems
  • Stems are leafless
  • Milky sap
  • Presence of stolons
  • Flower from late May or early June through September
  • Likes open fields, mountain meadows, clearings in forest zones, and roadsides
