Vernon-Sabin-Alameda North Project

Environmental Services has completed a project that repaired deteriorating sewer pipes in the Vernon, Sabin and Alameda neighborhoods, roughly north of the Alameda Ridge (see map).

The project included over 8,500 feet of open-cut sewer repair work, 825 feet of cured-in-place-pipe liner repair work, over 4,800 feet of lateral connections (the pipes that service individual properties), and constructing 38 manholes across 34 city blocks.

This project improves sewer system performance and adds capacity to the collection system.

A project to repair pipes in the same neighborhoods south of the Alameda Ridge began in January and will take about a year to complete.
