The City of Portland’s Environmental Services will be starting construction this winter to repair and replace almost 40,000 feet of severely deteriorated sewer pipe in various locations in the Eastmoreland and Woodstock neighborhoods. The project area is bordered by SE Ellis Street and SE Woodstock on the north, SE 28th Avenue on the west, SE 45th Avenue on the east and SE Crystal Springs Boulevard on the south. The city installed the existing sewer before 1920. The pipes range from eight to 24 inches in diameter with depths ranging from seven to 17 feet.
