Sewage leak repaired

A broken sewer pipe that was leaking into Oak Creek near the intersection of SW Palatine Street and SW 33rd Avenue was repaired on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at about 5:30 p.m. Crews found the leak at about noon on November 1 while doing routine sewer maintenance.

Oak Creek flows northeast to join Arnold Creek, and Arnold Creek empties into Tryon Creek. The public should avoid contact with Oak Creek in the area around SW 33rd Avenue and Palatine Street until the sewage leak is repaired.

For more information contact Linc Mann at 503-823-5328.
