Rain Garden or Naturescaping Workshops
Attend or host a workshop with East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District to learn about planning and constructing rain gardens, or to share information with your friends, family, or neighbors. These free workshops show you how rain gardens and native landscapes help improve watershed health in your neighborhood.
Part of a larger effort to bring healthy watershed function back to the neighborhood, Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is partnering with East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) to host free Rain Garden 101 workshops and a free Naturescaping workshop in your community!
Join us on February 15th, 2014 at the Hollywood Senior Center for Raingarden 101 workshop from 9am until 1pm.
Join us on March 2nd, 2014 at the Hollywood Library for naturescaping Basics workshop from 12 noon until 4 pm.
Join us on April 5th, 2014, at the People's Coop for Raingarden 101 workshop from 9am until 1pm.

Choose from over 50 species of beautiful and affordable bare-root groundcovers, trees and shrubs! Remember, quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't delay, plants do sell out quickly!
How to Pre-Order:
- Visit http://emswcd.org/where you will find pictures and details about each plant
- Select the plants you want and add them to your cart
- Check out just as you would at an online store but do notsend payment
- Look for your pre-order confirmation email and keep it on file.
Pay for and pick up your plants on Saturday, Feburary 22nd from 10am - 3pm at the EMSWCD Office located at 5211 N Williams Ave, Portland, OR 97217.
