Nuestra Cocina
The Tabor to the River Program uses green infrastructure to manage both public and private stormwater runoff at the source.
The City recently partnered with Nuestra Cocina restaurant at SE 22nd and Division in the Seven Corners area to manage stormwater from a total of 4,500 ft2 of roof and paved area. This project includes a stormwater planter, ecoroof, and pervious pavement to reduce stormwater entering the local sewer by an average of 100,000 gallons of runoff annually. The ecoroof covering the garbage and recycling area also reduces pollution to the sewer system. This project was constructed by Craig Design Group.
