Environmental Services is repairing about 40,000 feet (7.5 miles) of public sewer lines in your neighborhood that are between 60 and 100 years old and failing due to age. The project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
Current Construction Activities
The Rose City Park Sewer Repair Project is substantially complete. Work remaining is related to the small areas where crews are going back to correct or complete small scale items on the project punch list. A punch list is a list items that need to be completed before the project can be closed out. You can expect to see small crews of 2-4 people working at some manholes, spreading top soil, or doing other short term, low impact work.
Final completion of this project is anticipated by the end of November 2015.
