Rose City Sewer Project

Environmental Services completed construction on the Rose City Sewer Project in January 2014. The project repaired deteriorating sewer pipes in eight separate work sites in northeast, southeast, and southwest Portland.

  • NE 55th, 56th, 57th and Stanton
  • SW Fairmount, Portland Heights
  • SW Ravensview and SW Montgomery Drive
  • SE 40th and 41st
  • SW Florida, Corbett, Brier
  • NE 33rd and Shaver Street
  • NE 40th and Wistaria Drive
  • NE 60th and Sacramento

Rose City is one of a series of projects during the next three to five years that are replacing or repairing aging sewer pipes that have reached the end of service and are in poor condition. The work increases system capacity and improves the sewer system.

Other Sewer Projects in the Area

Environmental Services plans to start work on the Grant Park Sewer Repair Project in spring 2014 and finish in spring 2015. The work areas will be between NE Siskiyou Street and Interstate 84 from NE 24th to NE 33rd avenues.

The Rose City Park Sewer Repair Project is tentatively scheduled to begin construction in spring 2014 and finish in fall 2015. The project boundaries are between NE Fremont Street and Interstate 84, and NE 50th and NE 75th.
