Portland City Council created a Fair Contracting Forum "to support and promote accountable, transparent, fair, effective, and efficient contracting practices." The Forum has touched on topics such as timely payment of contractors, local/state/federal stimulus projects, and legislative changes increasing insurance limits.
The Forum also provided input on, and feedback to, the City of Portland's 2009 Disparity Study.
