Robert Phillips - Regional Diversity Award
As in past years, sponsoring public municipalities and other government agencies will honor an individual, group or team for making extraordinary contributions to diversity and inclusion at the 21st Annual Northwest Public Employees Diversity Conference (NWPEDC) on October 14, 2014. For more information about the award, please click here to download the flyer or go to the Robert Phillips - Regional Diversity Award section on the NWPEDC Home Page. From this page, you will find the link to the nomination form.
Named after Robert Phillips, who has promoted and expanded the focus of this conference to include multiple jurisdictions, the award is to honor employees, work groups, teams or departments that demonstrate a respect for and commitment to diversity that goes beyond their day-to-day job performance. In keeping with the spirit and commitment of Robert Phillips to inclusion, diversity, equity, and equal opportunity, we are seeking nominations where extraordinary contributions have been made regarding diversity and inclusion.
We are asking you to assist us in identifying and nominating individuals and work groups who have supported, promoted and implemented efforts to bring diversity and/or inclusion to our organization. We encourage you to consider all levels of employees for the Robert Phillips - Regional Diversity Award. Nominees must be current, regular employees of good standing with the City of Portland.
Please fill out and submit your nominations by August 29, 2014.
