August 1, 2014 is the start of the notice and comment period for proposed revisions to the following HR Administrative Rules:
4.06 Political Activity
8.03 Hours of Work, Overtime Compensation & Management Leave: FLSA Exempt Employees
The reason for the change to 4.06 Political Activity is to clarify the extent to which the rule prohibits the wearing of an employee’s official uniform while participating in any political activity. The change to 8.03 Hours of Work, Overtime Compensation & Management Leave: FLSA Exempt Employees is to remove the Electrical Supervisor from exceptional eligibility for overtime compensation.
