Motor Pool

Welcome to Motor Pool

CityFleet operates a Motor Pool for all City of Portland employees. A valid driver's license, permission from your Bureau, and an individual Motor Pool account ID are required.  It's easy to make reservations online, pick up the key and vehicle at our 1st Avenue Garage, and enjoy the savings available.

Motor Pool rates are $6.65 per hour, (maximum of $32/day).  Charges are for usage time from when the keys are removed from the Key Manager until the time they are returned.  There is no charge for weekends or mileage.  Fuel is already included in the rates as long as you fill up at a City of Portland station - we recommend filling up in the 1st Avenue Garage before setting out on your trip.

To sign up for a motor pool account ID, simply fill out the form and submit it to CityFleet.

Applications are usually processed within 3 business days.  If you need an application expedited, simply give us a call at 503-823-2277.  Have a safe trip!

Should you need roadside assistance with a motor pool vehicle (ex: flat tire, locked keys inside, tow, etc.), contact the Municipal Garage at 503-823-4341 (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm) or the Kerby Garage at 503-823-1806 (24 hours, Monday 6:30am - Friday 11:30pm).  For after-hours emergency weekend assistance, contact the tow desk at 503-528-7468.  Charges for emergency roadside assistance will apply.
