Robert F. Kieta is the City ofPortland, Facilities Manager and has 30 plus years of increasing responsibility and challenging experience in private and public sector facilities operations and capital projects portfolio management. As the City’s Facilities Manager he is responsible for the overall direction, monitoring and compliance to City policy, local and national code and the budget of the Facilities Services Division which includes components for each and every Bureau within the City. Implements and carries out Council policies and directives includingADAand Civil Rights Titles II and VI, green building policies and operations requirements. Provides planning, management and oversight for all construction and maintenance related projects within the OMF Facilities portfolios as well as the other City Bureau who choose to use various components of our service delivery. He oversees and monitors daily and emergency response and preparedness to the buildings operation programs, tenant and visitor needs, Fire/life and safety, building security, Major Maintenance, Capital expenditures, lease and property acquisition and disposition. Develops and monitors the City’s long term property, space and building needs through strategic space planning, program reviews and funding proposals.
