The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability promotes energy efficiency and renewable power production through a variety of residential, commercial and government initiatives.

The term “clean energy” usually makes people think of wind turbines and solar panels. At BPS, we consider the energy you don't use to be the cleanest. Our portfolio of programs and policies prioritizes energy efficiency and also promotes solar, small wind, biofuels and micro-hydro – all under the banner of clean energy.
