The Barbur Concept Plan is a long-term vision for the six-mile Barbur Boulevard corridor, from Portland's Central City to the Tigard city limit. The plan was adopted by the Portland City Council on April 24, 2013.
Beginning in summer of 2011, a community working group explored alternative land use concepts for the corridor through an 18-month public process. The concept plan recommends key future transportation investments and changes to City policy and zoning. In addition, the plan informs regional decisions for future High Capacity Transit as part of the regional SW Corridor Plan process.
