CAP Update Steering Committee

The steering committee is made up of community members with a wide range of experiences and expertise to advise the City and County on the CAP update.  It is comprised of approximately 20 members from a variety of backgrounds representing a cross-section of community interests.  A few steering committee members are also members of the City’s Planning and Sustainability Commission and the County’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability and Innovation.

Specific responsibilities of the Steering Committee include:

  • Reviewing and providing guidance on the proposed 2013 actions.
  • Assisting with stakeholder engagement during the public engagement phase of the project.
  • Connecting the work of the Climate Action Plan to health, equity and other shared community priorities.
