The Brooklyn Station Areas project is kicking off. A working group will guide the discussion over three meetings, starting in January 2014. The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability is working on developing land use, transportation and urban design strategies for the close-in SE station areas on the Portland Milwaukie Light Rail line - OMSI,Clinton, Rhine and Holgate.
Draft ideas for the station areas were developed over the summer with public input through the Inner SE Station Areas process. These ideas are now being refined through two separate processes. The Rhine and Holgate ideas will be refined through the Brooklyn Station Areas project that is just getting started. OMSI and Clinton ideas will be addressed through the SE Quadrant Plan.
