The Portland Planning Commission (PC) has closed the public hearing on the proposed Citywide Tree Policy Review and Regulatory Improvement Project. The Staff Report and Final Recommendations Package for the Planning and Urban Forestry Commissions will be posted July 6th.

The Planning Commission is expected to take action on the final recommendations at its July 27th meeting and either send it forward to City Council with the changes recommended during the work sessions, direct additional changes, or request additional review.

The Urban Forestry Commission is expected to take action at its July 29th meeting. Upon the Commissions' recommendation, staff will develop a Final Recommended Draft Proposal and post it for additional public review prior to the City Council hearing.
