"After realizing that jarred baby food was going to be quite expensive, I decided to start making my own from scratch. This has been a wonderful experience. Not only did I discover that baby food is very simple to make, but it tastes so much better than anything you can buy in a store. The need to buy ripe produce in season also gives us an excuse to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We've been visiting local farms and taking advantage of the bounty of our region. Beyond the simple cost savings, it creates an opportunity to enjoy some memorable time together, and eat well! "
