"We can all our own vegetables using my grandma's hand-me-down pressure cooker. We grow most of our veggies, but also purchase some, like corn, from our local produce stand. It's a great way to have healthy food all year long while still eating locally. At every meal we talk about where our food came from, who grew it and how it was processed. It's wonderful knowing some of our food was grown, harvested, processed and eaten at our house."
