The Urban Food Zoning Code Update Concept Report will be available to the public July 21st. This report will include a recap of the issues, benefits, and possible impacts to the surrounding area for each of the topic areas: market gardens, community gardens, farmers markets, community food distribution sites, and animals/bees. The report will also include additional research of how other jurisdictions regulate these food production and distribution activities.

There will be opportunities to comment on the Concept Report during July and August. Project staff is planning events for city-wide discussions and will also be available to meet with groups interested in learning more about the project.
