During its second meeting on December 1st the Central City 2035 Steering Committee identified attributes they believe make Portland's Central City a unique place to live and work. Starting with the five major goals proposed for the Central City 2035 Concept Plan, as well as three themes introduced by Steering Committee members - Innovation and Exchange, Livability, and Connectivity - they engaged in a lively and reflective conversation. The committee identified ingenuity, engagement, and opportunity as just a few of the dozens of characteristics that define the Central City. Read the meeting minutes to see which other key words made the list. For examples of the way Portland is represented watch short clips from Greater Portland, Inc. and Travel Portland.
