LEED Green Associate and LEED AP students: Earn four GBCI continuing education hours
Salvaging Commercial Construction Debris is a new professional training opportunity in early March, and was designed for the commercial and demolition contractor community. Participants will learn about desirable materials, benefits of salvage, salvage logistics and then receive a tour of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. LEED Green Associates and LEED AP students can earn four GBCI continuing education hours for their attendance.
“This workshop will help contractors understand how to cost effectively salvage demo material for reuse,” said Caitlin Powell, project engineer, SkanskaUSA Building. “It’s an exciting opportunity that will bring leading industry professionals together for a unique learning experience.”
Speakers include Joe Connell, Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore; Shane Endicott, The ReBuilding Center and Chrisl Mallet, SD Deacon.
