Tangerine Power seeks qualified solar electric firms to design and construct solar electric systems on five Portland public schools, two neighborhood centers, and a park.
These eight installations will be the first Portland Community Solar projects; installed using a new local investment program developed in partnership with the City or Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. Using a community-based funding model, the project will offer affordable investment opportunities while helping Portland build more solar energy.
The deadline for responding to the RFQ is June 25, 2012. There will be a pre-proposal meeting at the City of Portland, Bureau of Planning and Sustainability on Thursday, June 14th.
