This high-performance project is a study in building housing that is affordable, comfortable and resource efficient. The owner rents out the main house and lives in the cottage. There are many architectural and artistic touches in this open-feeling space including a mosaic tile tub surround, stained glass wall divider, a remnant steel handrail and alternating tread stairs.
