This low-impact site is a community-oriented living laboratory for natural building and permaculture, including cob-construction chicken and cat palaces. Natural building techniques perfected here include cob, light-straw clay insulation, earthen plaster, reclaimed materials and labor-intensive construction. A constructed wetland and greenhouse are new.
