This is the first EPA WaterSense-certified house in Oregon. It serves the public and design and construction industry professionals as a laboratory showcasing sustainable building practices, materials and systems. The toilets are flushed with recycled water (gray water). The landscape includes natives and drought tolerant plants. The design is an updated ranch that fits in with the surrounding neighborhood.
